Inventory spreadsheets, but they update themselves
A spreadsheet is a good start, but it depends on someone filling it in. With MiniStock, every stock in or out is recorded when you scan, and you keep a CSV export for your sheets.
What costs you time (and money)
Numbers copied by hand
Every entry is a chance to make a mistake. Scanning records the right quantity on the right item.
A file that's never current
Between updates, the spreadsheet is wrong. MiniStock stock changes with every movement.
No alerts
A spreadsheet doesn't warn you when a product drops below its threshold. MiniStock does.
What MiniStock does for you
History of every movement
When and how much: every stock in, out and adjustment is time-stamped, with its note.
Alerts and forecasts
An alert threshold per item and an estimated stockout date from recent usage.
CSV export
Valued inventory and movements exportable at any time, to open in Excel or send to your accountant.
Real-time stock value
Calculated at purchase price, with no formulas to maintain.

Yes, inventory and movements export to CSV, which Excel opens.
